According to my evtm for a '94 (don't have a '95) you are on the right track. the orange wire is signal return. the black wire is true ground. purple orange is the hot 12v feed from fuse e. the hot feed is for the heater portion of the o2 sensor with the direct return to ground (black wire). the signal return is orange.
