Our van with 103k miles now brought up a code p0480 last spring (at about 100k miles), it's the cooling fan relay circuit error, so i ordered and replaced the cooling fan relay with the mopar replacement part in june. within a day, the code reappeared (after i cleared it with a scan tool). it would occasionally go away, and then come back. Always start by checking the fuse for the radiator fans. it’s located in the integrated power module in the engine compartment. if the fuse is good, move on to the radiator fan relay. using the dodge radiator fan wiring diagram above, you’ll see that the relay ground is at g102 and the control coil receives power from the pcm. Have a 2005 dodge grand caravan, drove it short distance, when shut engine, cooling fan would not stop running. temp outside is in 30's, and temp guage is bottom, or barley moved. had to pull the fuse ….

The relay is a solid state module bolted to the frame rail near the air intake ductwork. to see it, either look from below or remove the air cleaner ducts near the battery. it is a common failure. look for a recently posted thread in this forum on the same topic. change cooling fans.
