Nos Oem Ford 2004 2005 2006 F150 Truck Transmission Valve Body 4r70 Here i am changing the transmission(getting it redone) on a 2005 ford f150. this trans. is the 4r70e.it had the reverse band broke.do to the length of the vi. I've done a bunch of searching on the web and noted the following instructions for yanking it out: 1. disconnect battery. 2. remove transmission dipstick. 3. remove inspection plate, 2 rubber plugs (bellhousing & opposite side of starter) 4. remove torque converter bolts (4) w 15mm socket (turning clockwise). 3. place and secure transmission on transmission jack. 4. raise and position transmission into the vehicle allowing the shaft tail to go over the exhaust, and piloting converter housing into position by dowels in rear of the engine block. 5. place transmission in horizontal position and remove the special tool. Drop your transmission pan, and take it over to the workbench. clean the pan with paper towels and brake parts cleaner. remove the magnet from the bottom of the pan and clean that up with cleaner also. don't use soap or anything else except brake parts cleaner.
