2021 In Review Matt Nightingale No matter how difficult our circumstances – and let’s face it, 2021 was basically 2020 redux – there is always grace, beauty, truth and love to be found, usually embodied in graceful, beautiful, truthful and loving human beings. (2021 in review, 2020 in review, 2019 in review) i’ve realized over the years that it’s an opportunity for me – if i take the opportunity – to experience god, to open my eyes and my mind and my heart to see how god has been so present through all the moments of this past year. have you heard of the contemplative spiritual practice.
2021 In Review Matt Nightingale Verse 21: “for although they knew god, they neither glorified him as god nor gave thanks to him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened.”. huh. now, see, i was – and still am – all about bringing glory to god. i was that little kid who was so devout, so spiritually sensitive.
