No– you still need to hold at part throttle to start. probably have iac prob lems, but try cleaning the throttle and see if that im proves it. if not see be yond the tune up dvd to diagnose it. or replace the iac motor as a good guess. depending on the car, you may can adjust the base idle speed for now. 1999 2003 7.3l power stroke diesel no start, following chart to diagnose hi all, i'm helping my son diagnose a no start issue on a 2000 7.3 w manual transmission that died while idling. following the chart; no wait to start light, fuse 22 good, 12 volts at red wire at pcm connector.
