Lets start with the benefits. first of all, the added bass really makes the headphones warm and full. compared to the stripped down and cold sound of other akg models, the akg k7xx with its added bass really helps bring the fullness in music and makes genres such as jazz and edm much more enjoyable. Akg k7xx is a massdrop exclusive headphone. this one is more exclusive though, as it’s colored red instead of the full black one. k7xx is a reconfigured version of akg’s 65 anniversary model; k702 and the main purpose was to improve low frequencies and making a more flexible sound overall. if you’ve seen my , i’ve talked about how great. The headphones came in a simple "presentation" box with one cable. no other accessories were included, again understandable, but still a bit troublesome. a shorter cable would have been greatly appreciated, as the one included with the headphones is around 8 feet long (and a proprietary plug, gdi akg).
