Am I Doing Fans Right Added Two Noctua Fans To This Pc Did I Put Them Long story short i bought 3 noctua fans and put two attached to the heatsink, and one attached at the front of the chassis. all the air is being sucked from the front, moved through the pc and exhausted in the back. my pc has 5 fans. two of which i did not replace with noctua ones. the two that were not replaced touched came stock with my pc case. I have a i7 4690k, i have a noctua nh u9s with the default fan, the nf a9 92. i have two fan's that came with the corsair graphite 760t facing in the front, pushing air through the front. yes, pretty standard fan config. again, adding another fan on that cpu cooler will help only a teeny bit, if at all.

One in the middle is good. the second fan only offers a few c extra cooling. just the singular fan on the cooler and some good case fans will be more than fine. i mean the 2nd fan helps. it's a waste of money to buy a d15 and only use 1 fan. just buy a 1 fan noctua model and save $30 $40. i ordered this through amazon….
