Artstation Feudal Japan The Shogunate My take on artstation's challenge feudal japan: shogunate. the idea was to depict 8 characters from the edo period which is the period between 1603 and 1868 in the history of japan, when japanese society was under the rule of the tokugawa shogunate and the country's 300 regional daimyō. the challenge was meant to be for the concept art for a game but it didn't specify whether it should be.
