To begin, we will mainly be focused on humanoid blender character rigging. that means two things. first, if you’re using a program like maya, while the principles will be the same, the steps will be different. second, if you need to do blender character rigging for a non humanoid (say a cat or dog model), the principles will still apply. I am new to blender and have done a few tutorials to learn the basics, mainly creating objects, a water well, some basic shapes and my next project is looking at base meshes for characters. i am currently following a great one about character creation and sculpting. my next plan is to learn rigging.
