Hi all! just wanted to share a few pictures and talk about a 4 month "first boat" restoration project that is finally coming to a close. back in may, my dad and my brother and i came across an old walleye bass boat that was in rough shape. it is a 1994 stratos 217f, 17.5 ft glass boat with a 1993 60 horse evinrude. Step no. 4: wash and apply pro tec nu paint moisturizer. once your 2,000 grit sandpaper stops gripping and glides smoothly over the surface, it’s time to wash the boat with pro tec wash and gloss. you don’t have to go too crazy with it. just make sure to get all of the wet sanding residue off of the surface.
