With an egt guage installed, and with the stock pin rotated to 3 pm i was at 1000 egt 70 mph on slight incline. no visible smoke out the exhaust. a few changes got me 1250 egt, 19 psi and some smoke on full throttle. boost pin, raised the star wheel (1) turn to increase spring tension. 1 2 turn clockwise on the external top adjuster nut. The stock pin at its most aggressive setting adds fuel with no boost. in other words the pin is partially out at the no boost position. this one does not. if you have the correct maximum fuel set at full boost, especially at elevated boost levels, the fuelling off boost is too high and you will get smoke off boost.
