How To Glaze Clay Charms Uv Resin Tutorial Youtube Hi everyone! watch in hd :)in this video i talk you through how i glaze my polymer clay charms using uv resin! a lot of you have noticed how shiny my charms. If you want a thick coating of resin, build it up one layer at a time and cure fully between each one. if you spot any air bubbles, pop them by running a heat gun along the surface before you cure your piece. hold it under your uv lamp for at least 30 60 seconds before putting it down and drying it for the full time. How to glaze polymer clay, step by step. 1. start with conditioning your clay, so the final result is smooth and easy to glaze. condition polymer clay by warming it up between your hands to make it malleable, and to press out any air bubbles from the clay. roll the clay into balls or sausages until soft, and no longer flaky. 5. use a bbq lighter to draw up air bubbles: using a match or a bbq lighter, light it up about an inch or two away from the resin for just 1 3 seconds. this draws up and destroys any remaining air bubbles or imperfections. 6. cure under a uv resin light: put the mold under the uv light for up to 60 seconds and then you can safely pop the resin.
