The students glued the strips on a late paper for the collage. this took three 50 minute classes. then students traced the eyes and nose of the animal they wanted and outlines the eyes, nose, and beaks with india ink. ( pictures at the bottom of blog) this is the resin i use. i paint it on with a brush.

College Animals 2021 Here's mrs. kerr's and mrs. campbell's class, doing an amazing job! here's some cuties from mrs. reece's class! day 2: we'll get a piece of 4x12" 90 lb paper, scribble on it with the green and light green pastels, and paint it green. Here's how we started ours! day 1: the kids can choose between a dog, cat, and bird of prey. we started on the eyes nose first. when i taught the first classs, i let them draw the eyes and noses themselves, but it was taking forever, and they were a little too small. for the next class, i made a few tracers for the eyes, and nose, and that went.
