Educationusa academy is a college preparatory program for international high school students interested in studying in the united states. hosted by nine u.s. colleges and universities, the program provides valuable skills and experiences helping students strengthen their applications and prepare for future success. 2024 academy programs will be offered both virtually and in person. Educationusa is a u.s. department of state network of over 430 international student advising centers in more than 175 countries and territories. the network promotes u.s. higher education to students around the world by offering accurate, comprehensive, and current information about opportunities to study at accredited postsecondary. Educationusa academy is a two to four week academic program which provides college preparatory content including specialized courses in various fields, english and academic writing courses, tours of diverse college and university campuses, and cultural activities to 15 to 17 year old, mostly self funded students from around the world. Educationusa academy exposes international high school students to life on a u.s. college campus. in addition to classroom study, students will have opportunities to improve their english skills, learn how to prepare a successful college application, make connections with peers and teachers, and participate in cultural activities that will give them a taste of american life. The educationusa academy is a three to four week summer academic program that provides english language courses, college preparatory content, tours of diverse colleges and universities, and cross cultural activities for self funded 15 to 17 year old students from around the world. the program is administered by the institute for international education and supported by the u.s. department of state's bureau of educational and cultural affairs.
