Exceptional Student Education Ese Home The exceptional education and student services department provides services and supports for students with disabilities, gifted learners and other eligible students. for more information, please call (904) 348 7800. Each school district is responsible for providing services to students who are eligible for the following ese programs. autism spectrum disorder (asd) deaf or hard of hearing (dhh) ages birth 9 years. birth through two years. established conditions (ec): ages birth through 2 years old. developmentally delayed (dd): ages birth through 2 years old. Our goal is to guide and empower families to become collaborative, effective advocates for their child with special needs by providing information and support to promote academic and social success in school and within the community. the exceptional student education (ese) department provides support and services to students with disabilities. The exceptional student education (ese) department connecting with our parents! the ese and fdlrs departments host an “ese family event” each year. the event is designed to help students, families and community members gather information and connect with school and agency staff to gather information and resources to enable our students.

The exceptional student education (ese) department connecting with our parents! the ese and fdlrs departments host an “ese family event” each year. the event is designed to help students, families and community members gather information and connect with school and agency staff to gather information and resources to enable our students. Orange county public schools serves approximately 37,800 students identified as eligible for exceptional student education (ese); this includes 13,419 students identified as gifted. eligible students with disabilities are provided services from birth through age 22. ese services are available at all public school sites throughout the district. The special help they are given at school is called exceptional student education (ese). the purpose of ese is to help each child with a disability progress in school and prepare for life after school. ese services include specially designed instruction to meet the unique needs of the child. ese services may also include technology devices.
