1990 Bmw 325is Coupe For Sale Cars Bids So basic building blocks are: normal m20 325i block. 328i crankshaft. 320i conrods. 40 thou oversized pistons. this is where i am so far: block has been bored with new oversized pistons but still at the engineers. they also have the crankshaft and are checking clearances for the mains and big ends. The alu e30 will fit into the e21. in the e30 you always need the alu version. for the 2.7 you'll need 84mm pistons. those can be found in the b27 eta, b27 super eta, the b25 non cat and b25 cat. all newer m20 engines from 1983 or so. the choice of head dictates the choice of pistons, see "head". Doesn’t make a difference for an na setup. i’m certain it would, low air temp>high air mass>more fuel>more power. if anything it should matter more for na as you don’t have an intercooler. i’m not claiming to be a seasoned tuner but right behind the rad must be at least 30°c higher than ambient.

I thought the same thing but another b27 stroker made 440 on 18 psi. and then yesterday a b25 turbo @ 13 psi made 340 350 whp so it seems like the dyno is accurate. a stock e92 m3 made 299 whp on it as well which is pretty low. It's been a while since my last post and wanted to follow up with the finished product. the m50 stroker is finished and running. so to start off the build, i bought myself a 1995 e36 325i m50tu iron block obd1 engine in a near perfect condition for its age and miles (340,000km or 211,000 miles for the folks down south.
