As the first three covers did, the images capture the magic of the books. ahead of this release, mugglenet caught up with jonny duddle, the illustrator and children’s book author, to discuss his new covers in an exclusive interview. a digital artist, duddle initially learned his craft over 10 years as a concept artist for computer games. Jonny's work has adorned the covers of the prestigious children's editions of the harry potter series by j.k. rowling, showcasing his broad commercial appeal. there is now a hugely successful tv series based on jonny’s book gigantosaurus, featuring four loveable dino kids, airing across the globe, with a video game and fantastic toy merchandise. Together, bloomsbury and j.k. rowling selected jonny duddle to be the new artist for the harry potter books. jonny will create front, back and spine artwork ( eek! ) for each. on being chosen to design the covers jonny duddle said, ‘i’m hugely excited to work my way through the wonderful books.
