Help A Family In Need This Holiday Season Family Promise Of Beaufort Family promise is out to make an impact, and they can do so with your help. this organization helps shelter homeless children and their families. it’s a vital service and even more important as the holidays get closer and the weather turns colder. they give these sheltered children and families the skills they need to foster independence. The family promise model is successful, unique, and cost effective. we are the only shelter in both beaufort and jasper counties. over 90% of families graduating our program are still in permanent housing after one year. we operate at 1 3 the cost of traditional shelters. since opening our doors in july 2008, we have assisted over 900.
