I don't think dimps would be that lazy just to reskin a major transformation like that though player expectations were extremely low (in a semi related opinion) the main reasons for why ui sign goku shouldn't be in the game fall more into anime logic than game logic while you never really see anyone saying the same thing about base gogeta. One of the wonky things about xenoverse 2 altogether is that focusing on damage per minute is a much, much stronger method than worrying about damage per second. her basic attacks are definitely on the weaker side in terms of their literal damage, but their ease of access to stamina breaks and slams to make good on ki ultimates is freaking insane. A few ki blasts that will force him to ui dodge are enough to get his already crippled stamina down to kill range and like you said his stamina recovery is awful even on the ground. ui is also wek to quick ki supers, so dodon ray or death beam are legit threats that might give opponents an opening. haven't tested his soul's burst limit though.
