Starting from the corner of the wall farthest away from an entry or line of sight, measure the width of the wallpaper minus one inch (to allow for trimming on the wall edge) and mark with a pencil. using a level, draw a straight, vertical plumb line from the mark against which you can line up the edge of the wallpaper. step 5. Position the first strip. unfold the top half of the wallpaper, leaving the bottom half of the wallpaper booked, and position the glue exposed portion of the top of the wallpaper on the wall. line up the strip with the plumb line (from step 4), allowing for an inch on both the top, bottom, and edge for trimming. step 8.

Both our traditional and pre pasted wallpapers are suitable for use in bathrooms. we do recommend, however, that the room has adequate ventilation and that the wallpaper is not installed in an area where it will come into direct contact with water. we also recommend using a wallpaper primer first to help with adhesion. Lay the first wallpaper panel. now you are going to attach the first wallpaper panel to the wall, lining up that drawn edge as you go. i peel back about 12 inches of the backing and fold it so the panel is as smooth and close to the wall as possible. line up the top of the panel and smooth the first 12 inches. Cut the paper in the corners. i know this is added work and more room for mistakes, but i found the paper bubbles in the corners if you don’t cut the paper. if you’re hanging paper on an edge without trim, fold the paper around the wall so you can have and easy line to cut using scissors. be sure to not allow even a small amount to hang.
