Step 1: find a suitable book. for this project, any book will do because we are only using the pages. the way i made this book does not allow the book to close. so you don't need to decorate the covers. if you are going to have to book standing up at an angle, it would look better to paint the back covers black. Apply gel medium to the inside of the cut compartments to glue their pages too. add color to the entire insdie of the book with distress ink and sprays. let dry. fill the inside of the compartments with the embellishents. add a title to the front cover of the book. print the inventory tag, cut it and attach to the inside of right cover. Now, he is 5. i wanted to make a spell book with him. but i think he’s a tad too young for making one — at least one like the other grandkids made. so, i got thinking. what if we made a spell book but one that was easier. much easier. one that a five year old could do. thus, my idea of a super easy halloween spell book was born!.
