Assign tcode su01 to role. within the profile assignment, focus on auth object s user grp. assign activity 05 lock at minimum. other authorization objects depending on if they can even display, etc is up to your core requirements. I dont see any authorization issue from su53. i have to go su01 → change (shift f6) → maintain user → logon data tab → initial password → enter the new password and save it. Aug 14, 2007 at 03:18 am. hi . if you couldn't find any profile in su02 for just resetting the password, you may create a new one to serve the purpose. and the authorization objects it may contain may be s tcode and s user grp (user master maintenance: user groups). and populate s user grp with activities you prefer, which may be just display.
