Lancashire And South Cumbria Nhs Ft Celebrates Gde Accreditation We are also proud to be part of the lancashire and south cumbria integrated care partnership. welcome to the new nhs lancashire and south integrated care board (icb) website. our role as an icb is to join up health and care services, improve people's health and wellbeing, and make sure everyone has the same access to services and gets the same. Lancashire and south cumbria health and care partnership is the name of our ics, which provides strategic leadership for health and care. it includes local authorities, the nhs, voluntary, community, faith and social enterprise (vcfse) organisations, academic institutions, other public sector organisations and communities. The nhs lancashire and south cumbria icb was established in july 2022. it has replaced the eight clinical commissioning groups (ccgs) in the area. it is accountable for nhs spend and performance, and responsible for the day to day running of the nhs in lancashire and south cumbria. it includes nhs trusts, local authorities and general practices. In october 2022, partners worked together to ask people living in lancashire and south cumbria to share their views on the six proposed priorities for our integrated care strategy. following feedback, a draft integrated care strategy for lancashire and south cumbria was produced. we launched a further engagement programme in march 2023.
