When you memorize surah al baqarah, you will be memorizing 8.3% (1 12) of the quran. yes, surah al baqarah is the longest surah in the qur’an, and i was surprised when i computed it and realized it’s 8.3% of the qur’an. and that is remarkably significant. Focus on five a day. memorise 5 lines or 5 āyāt a day (you'd complete it in two months). take a line or āyah (at times you'll need to chunk them into smaller segments) to memorise at 5 points of the day. combine as you build each day. appoint one day to review it all in the week. Say, "improvement for them is best. and if you mix your affairs with theirs they are your brothers. and allah knows the corrupter from the amender. and if allah had willed, he could have put you in difficulty. indeed, allah is exalted in might and wise. 2:221.
