Loss Of A Spouse Jannali Anglican Church Griefshare: loss of a spouse is a single session meeting for those coping with the loss of a spouse, to help you navigate your new normal. at st. luke's, meetings are held twice each year, one in february and one in august. these meetings serve as lead ins to our more in depth groups griefshare: your journey from mourning to joy. Coping with grief and loss. grief is an intense emotion that is felt in response to the loss of someone close to us. during the grieving process, people may have a variety of emotional and physical responses. each person copes with grief in his or her own way. this is bereavement and, though sometimes deeply painful, it is natural and normal. Description. this support program brings together people who are dealing with loss and grief. you’ll have the opportunity to reach out to others for support as you cope with loss in a safe, supportive environment and learn more about the grief process. each group meets for a 7 week session. Following circumstances: attempted murder suicide survivors, c hild and step child loss, i n law loss, f riend loss, p arental and or step parental loss, s ibling and or step sibling loss, spouse, ex spouse, partner or ex partner loss, and witnesses of murder suicide with or without direct connections to the victim and or perpetrator.
