Make A Bow Like A Christmas Pro With Three Simple Loops Youtube Christmas bow 1. this ribbon is one and a half inches and it's wired. let's start by taking our ribbon, creating one loop, and folding it over so that we can create our second loop. pinch it directly in the middle and create a loop. repeat this process as many times as you would like. With the cut end of the ribbon facing towards the right, pinch the ribbon together one inch from the end and make a 5” loop. move the tail of the ribbon down and fold it to the back to make a second 5” loop pushing the center of the ribbon behind your thumb. you should now have a bow tie with two 5” loops on either side. For your base, cut 3 28 inch strips. fold them individually into 12 inch loops. cut your accent ribbons into 12 inch strips and alternate between the different patterns. put your widest ribbon on bottom and thinnest on top. secure in the center with twine, add tails, and fluff your loops. Step four: you’ve now got the form of your quick easy christmas bow. all you need to do now is wrap additional ribbon around your first 2 loops to create layers. my video tutorial shows a 2 layer bow but you can do a 3 layer bow as well (most if my bows are actually 3 layers). for the 2 layer bow just wrap once, for a 3 layer bow, wrap twice.
