How To Make 3d Solar System Project For Kids Solar System Model Project Use light blue modeling clay to create uranus. uranus and neptune are both much larger than the inner planets, but not nearly as large as the giants jupiter and saturn. uranus is roughly 3 ½ times the diameter of earth. the orbit of uranus is much farther from the sun than any of the other planets you have made so far. Hi guys welcome to 2023 and happy new year in this vedio i'm gonna make 3d planets with cardboard and polymer clay. keep watching my vedio and try at home.
Making 3d Planets With Cardboard And Polymer Clay Solar System Science Step 2 : paint model solar system box. after getting all of the supplies, it’s time to paint the box. we used a small moving box for this project. a longer box would have been better, but we already had this one on hand and decided that we could make it work. first, we cut off 3 of the box flaps. How to create a solar system model project. paint a cardboard box black to represent outer space. gather 9 polystyrene or clay balls of different sizes to represent the sun and the planets. paint them accordingly, then run a thread through their centers and tape the end to the box to hang the planets. Hold the dowel rod in place until the glue dries. when the cardboard circles have dried, slide the 11” diameter circle down the wooden dowel rod and let it come to rest on the square base, with the black painted side facing up. place a small ball of air dry clay around the dowel rod just above the cardboard circle. Step 2: finishing solar system. now i cut the foam board (11x20 inch) 1 piece, (3x11 inch) 2 pieces, (3x20 inch) 2 pieces. then join together as shown in the video and make it like box now paint with acrylic color using tissue paper so it will create a texture. then take a toothbrush dip into white paint and sprinkle with your finger for more.
