Paladin tends to be a little more offense focused and does quite a bit better with two handed weapons (especially with reach) compared to other champions. taking the "ranged reprisal" feat at lvl 1 along with a 2 handed reach weapon gives you a massive threat area to 'punish' anyone who chooses to attack one of your allies.
