The fan draws air from the top of the cabinet throught the tunnel and expels it out the rear. normally it operates at a very low speed, but if the temperature rises beyond a certain point the fan automatically switches to a higher speed. the marantz 2500 is 19 ¾ inches wide, 7 inches high, and 17 ¼ inches deep.
