I have a alpha 1 gen one drive .i put a 350mpi merc in last year.my question is this.the alpha used a momentary switch on the shifting plate that grounded out the ign. to shift.it was a carbed 4.3.now with the mpi motor i didn't hook it up because nobody at the time seemed to be able to figure what to hook this up to, to kill the ign.and if this type of switch would even work i didn't want to.
