Newborns typically go through about 10 14 changes in one day alone. sometimes even more. so, if you want to wash every other day, i’d get a minimum of 24 newborn cloth diapers. but, even then, i’d have a small pack of backup disposables just in case. really, 32 36 newborn diapers is more like it. I started around two months and went with alva newborn as i wasn’t confident if cloth diapers “worked” but they have! so far i have my previous alva nb which are microfiber blend with a 3 layer bamboo booster and recently bought smart bottoms 2.0 born smart.
