Hello! i have a new card for you today featuring bee happy by hello bluebird stamps. first of all i ink blended my background panel using distress inks in peacock feathers and mowed lawn. i distressed the panel by splashing water droplets over it and then blotted them up a few seconds later. next, i prepared my top panel. This card also uses the word die 'smile' from the new photo stack die set. this card started with an a2 panel of bristol smooth cardstock and i ink blended it first with distress oxide in dried marigold with deep colour around the outside to start creating a lighter central focal point and then i came in with wild honey (seemed appropriate!) to further deepen the outside to a rich golden hue.
Hello! i have such a summery card for you today featuring the bee happy stamp set by hello bluebird stamps. the card features a background that i softly inked using clarity stencil brushes and twisted citron and spun sugar distress inks. these were then splattered with the inks to add some interest. This card also borrows the word ‘smile’ from the newer photo stack die set! let’s begin! first off i grabbed an a2 panel of bristol smooth cardstock and i ink blended it with distress oxide in dried marigold and then i came in with distress ink in wild honey (seemed appropriate) and darkened around the edges, thus creating a lovely rich colour around the edges but a brighter focal point.
