Outside Temp Sensor Location Mercedes Benz Forum Outside temp sensor location. i asked about wacky temp indicator before and was told the sensor was behind the front bumper. in the service cd's in component locations it shows a sensor behind the wiper motor in the cowl area. but it seemed to be associated with the air cond, system. are there 2 temp sensors one for guage on dash and one for. Keyhole. if you get under the car and remove the left cover under the engine, you may see the original temperature sensor hanging loose. it would have been clipped onto bumper louvres on the left side near the fog light. termed 'outside temperature sensor' (b14) it might have been left (in error) in the original bumper. ok thanks.
