Kodama (コダマ) are tree spirits appeared in princess mononoke. they are children of old trees, and are a sign that the forest is healthy. kodama have white skin with black and grey, glowing eyes. each kodak has a different head but they all have three black dots on their faces to symbolize their eyes and mouth. the kodama have been living in the forest before the start of the movie. they.
