Glue the ends of the strips together. consider holding the fold paper in place with a clothespin while the glue dries. once dry, remove the clothespin and cut away any excess paper. repeat these steps to create four identical legs and the neck. 7. attach the legs and neck to the body of the marionette using hot glue. Step 4. attach yarn, with craft glue, to the parts that you will be controlling, such as the shoulders (to keep the puppet upright), the hands (to allow the arms to move) and the feet (to allow the legs to move). the pieces of yarn for the shoulders should be at least 6 inches long. for the hands, the yarn should be at least 12 inches long. The free printables allow the doll to be colored in as desired, then cut out and assembled for hours of fun. use brad fasteners to make the paper doll bend and able to dance and fly all over the room. use a dowel or pencil to help give the illusion of flying. such fun! estimated cost under $10. time to complete under an hour.
