Pray Without Ceasing God Will Make It Happen Keep Believing Never Give Up God Bless You All

1) “i keep asking that the god of our lord jesus christ, the glorious father, may give you the spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better” (ephesians 1:17 niv). note the phrase “i keep asking.”. paul did not believe that if you made a prayer request, you never had to make it again. Our part is to pray fervently, sincerely, and honestly, bringing our deepest concerns to the lord. god’s part is to listen to our prayers and to graciously answer them in his own time, in his own way, according to his own will. if we do our part, god cannot fail to do his. so pray, pray and keep on praying. you never know what god will do.

1 thessalonians 5:16 18. “be joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is god’s will for you in christ jesus” (1 thessalonians 5:16 18). writing over one hundred years ago, professor james denney of scotland called these three commands “the standing orders of the gospel.”. they are “standing orders. None of these feelings, however, captures the essence of “pray without ceasing.”. this command from god is not a guilt trip, a monkish dream, or a summons to drudgery. it is, rather, a call to become who you were made to be. it is a command to live up to your privileges in jesus christ. But we should pray over and over and often. our default mental state should be: "o god . . ." third, i think praying without ceasing means not giving up on prayer. don't ever come to a point in your life where you cease to pray at all. don't abandon the god of hope and say, "there's no use praying." go on praying. That is basically what i think he means by “pray without ceasing” — repeatedly and often. 3. staying steadfast. the third thing i think he means is this: not giving up on prayer. “without ceasing” means you should never come to a point in your life when you say, “prayer doesn’t work. i am done.
