Radiator Fan Relay Location R Volkswagen Vw keeps the fuses a secret. i had to either google or my make and model to find someone who shared the diagram. there’s a fan control relay way below the battery. the wire from the fan motor plugs into it. look up from underneath right beside where the drain for the rad is and you will see the connector and relay. The fan control module should be right where your lookin under the battery tray, there are two 10mm bolts holdin it from the top. the 40 amp relay is not the same as the fcm, the relay goes under the dash, if it is a newer version the numbers may not match. thanks alot.

Hawaii5 0. 4349 posts · joined 2007. #6 · may 2, 2010. re: radiator fan relay fuse whatever (static.20v) the fuse is on the main fuse box on top the battery. it is the green 30 amp fuse locted on the left. you can unplug the fan from the fan control module, under the battery tray, and jump it straight to the battery to see if it still runs.
