Rebuilding The Wiring Harness For My 1998 Ford F 150 Starter Youtube Working on rebuilding the starter wiring harness in my 1998 ford f 150. the original wiring harness had been repaired by a previous owner and was very corrod. 98 4.6v8 4x4 with new battery, new starter, new starter relay. when ignition turned to start, starter will not engage. there is an audible click when the ignition is turned to start. all cable connections cleaned, cables traced and look ok. any suggestions or leads to diagnose the issue would be of great help.
