Red Ball Project Public Art Outdoor Art Lovers Art Kurt perschke is an artist who works in sculpture, video, collage and public space. his most acclaimed work, redball project, is a traveling public art project that has taken place in over 40 cities including abu dhabi, taipei, perth, england, barcelona, st. louis, korea, portland, sydney, arizona, chicago and toronto, and received a national award from americans for the arts public art network. With antwerp, kurt perschke installed his 250 pounds and 15 foot high inflated giant red ball across the city’s famous landmarks and monuments. the installations ran until august 28th and was the 25th city around the world to receive the giant ball. take a look at some of the surreal shots below and then make sure to drop your two cents down.
