Teardown Of Amd 7900 Xtx Reference Card R Amd Even played games on it with no issue. xfx on their site says red means issue with power, while a blue light means its good. from all the videos ive watched on about this card. i dont see a red and or a blue light! any help would be great! thanks edit: forgot to mention. i am running 3 seperate power connectors from my psu to gpu. Minimum 800 watt power supply; 3 x 8 pin power connector. pci express® based pc is required with one x16 lane graphics slot available on the motherboard. minimum 8gb of system memory. 16gb recommended. says 800, but these things are overclocked. i wouldn't even recommend 850w because i would prefer to not push psu to upper limit and less. No weird noises. i reseated all of the vga power connections to the power supply, both on the gpu and i took the power supply out to make sure they were all connected securely. i also reseated the gpu itself twice to see if i could get a better connection to the motherboard. the solid red light for vga persists.
