The rossi model 88 was produced from 1978 until the mid '90's and is a fine quality double action revolver. it was offered in a 2" and 3" stainless steel ver. Markings: barrel "amadeo rossi" and ".38 special" on the other side. frame "made in brazil" and serial number aa756867. under the grips "027 10 95" and "7735" on the other side. on the cylinder "7735". on the cylinder crane "7735". and on the frame, right against where the crane closes "272". by the looks of the revolver it seems to be an m68. 980 posts · joined 2021. #8 · may 1, 2022. rossi factory technical manual assures p rating for all revolvers made from 1979. all 6 shot, .38 special rossi revolvers, was made after 1979. there´s only 5 shot .38 special cylinders (or smaller calibers, like .22 lr and .32 s&w long) before this date. woody ussluce.
