The 23 mm barrel would work with a soviet 1974 dated akm barrel trunnion. the short body of the ak74 bolt head should work with this barrel trunnion barrel combination. the early cast style akm gas tube would look close to what the early ak74 block looks like and i think the gas port hole in the barrel would line up with gas block and that the gas tube spacing would work.
