The Division1 Vs The Division 2 A Comprehensive Comparison Techbullion That was 3 years ago when the game just launched, compare that to like 1.0 of the division 1. division 2 didnt learn from the mistakes of division 1 and had a ton of issues. but just like div1, div2 learned and had a complete gear rework in tu8, march 2020. it is a much better game now, and the dlc substantially improves the endgame grinds. If you care about the game lore, get the division 1. the missions and the lore of the game is far better. also the ambience. if you care about the endgame content, get the division 2. reply reply. Division 2 Vs Division 1 Sniper Comparison Tom Clancy S The D Granted, movement in div 2 feels better, but as far as gunplay i like them both equally. div 1: the sheer amount of exploration you can do feels much bigger in div 1 than in div 2, at least to me. the story actually has replayablity to me and feels much darker and more atmospheric. The division was, and is, a great game, so does the sequel live up to those high standards, and should it be on your buy list?thanks, rob.patreon: ww. 2 is the better game by all accounts. 1 is more stable. both are worth playing, but 1 is dead and feels as dated as it is. 2 will crash every 10 minutes, or not at all. 2 is more difficult than 1, so it makes sense to play 2 first and play 1 only after you learn the basics in 2. that's what i did and i love them both.
