In this chapter our focus is on highlighting and exploring the sociological nature of disenfranchised grief. we begin by revisiting the concept of disenfranchised grief and demonstrating its sociological significance. we then develop the original concept by extending the typology of different manifestations of disenfranchised grief. this involves adding further dimensions of disenfranchisement.
