Located on babcock boulevard in the north hills of pittsburgh, valliant’s diner has been serving hungry pittsburghers since 1968. according to their website, valliant’s original owner peter valliant emigrated to the area from greece in the 1950s. he opened the diner with his wife, helen, on his their sons 12th birthday: december 13, 1968. The problem with pamela's is that if you didn't know any better you may not give this unassuming diner a second thought. the decor is straight out of the 1950s, the menu is standard diner fare, and if you're not there on a weekend to see the huge crowds you may never know that it is one of the most popular places in the city.
