Conservation value: Área de conservación guanacaste (acg) protects dry lowland forest, an especially threatened habitat, as well as adjacent rain forest, cloud forest, and a marine sector. it is home to 2.5 percent of biodiversity on the planet, and half as many species found in all north america. importantly, acg is recognized as a world.
