Not sure if i agree with swashbuckler damage just being "okayish." at level 1, once they gain panache for precise strike they are doing 1 more damage than a fighter with a similar weapon (and only 1 less damage than a raging non giant instinct barbarian with a similar weapon) and become better at the maneuver than all other classes (barring a rogue who already has expert in the associated skill). Lumgeon. •• edited. swashbuckler is simply incredible. not only can they use some of the strongest martial attacks in the game, they are also masters of their style skill. the class is the poster child for advanced combat, so if you find flanking and striking every turn to be monotonous, this is your class.
