Vintage Kenwood Home Stereo System Sounds Really Good Powerful Old school kenwood home stereo system that was well taken care of! in great condition! sounds amazing with 15 inch woofers! the only issues i see is the tune. Some kenwqood integrated amps that appeal to me (granted i don't know a great deal about them) or their sound signatures, are: ka 8004. ka 8150. ka 9100. ka 9150. ka 9077 907. l 03a. i understand that the 500 600 series are uobtainium unless you manage trust funds, but were likely the ultimate models.

Kenwood Hifi Midi Stereo System M 94 Vintage Home Hi Fi Stereo F Kenwood in the 90s: with the exception of the l 1000 series in the mid 90s, there wasn't a lot of drool worthy gear coming out of kenwood's factories. most of their r&d money was going into either "home theater" gear or car stereo. that said, the amplifier sections on some of their better avrs was excellent. Gillcup hyperactive! thread starter. i recently began using my kenwood kr 2600 stereo receiver which i purchased in 1977 in a secondary system. the kr 2600 is rated at 15 wpc. the set up is pretty simple, a pioneer turntable, project phono amp and psb imagine b bookshelf speakers with the kr 2600. the results are pretty stunning. This was my “stereo life” in the 1970’s. personal aside—2. my dad was an avid audiophile, from way back. he’d jumped on the “hi fi stereo” bandwagon in the 1950’s and assembled a very nice stereo system as soon as ‘stereo’ became a thing in 1958. when the 1970’s receiver power race came on, he wanted one. really bad. Old school kenwood home stereo system that was well taken care of! in great condition! sounds amazing with 15 inch woofers! the only issues i see is the tuner is a little dim and one of the speaker grills has a couple of small holes, and the speakers have a few small scrapes on the sides. no remote included.

Including reverb bump. the amazing and beautiful kenwood ka 5700. i can't say enough good things about this amp. one of kenwood's best silver faces of the '70s. it was right in the sweet spot of price and power. 40 watts per channel, easily enough to fill a large room. $499 retail when it came out in 1978.
