This amplifier is one of the most valuable among collectors, and the price only gets higher over time. as many of you might guess, this is a marantz model 1060. marantz 1060 was manufactured from 1971 to 1978. it produces 30 watts per channel into 8 ohms with no more than 0.5% total harmonic distortion.

I have owned the following: 2270 2275 2240 2245 model 16 power amp 3300 pre amp i currently own: 2265b 1060 integrated amp sr 4320 the 2270, mfg in 1971, had a more 'warm 1970's' sound, and was significantly different than the 2265b, mfg in 1978. the 2265b is somewhat more bright in a great way. In this amplifier there are 3 sets of caps, the largest is for ac dc current filtering from the transformer. the two smaller ones are actually for each channel of the power amplifier board. as you may have noticed from all the other capacitor replacements, the size has significantly dropped in the past 40 years!.
