Women deliver 2023 conference:spaces, solidarity, and solutions. the women deliver 2023 conference (wd2023) took place in person in kigali, rwanda, as well as virtually, from 17 20 july 2023. as one of the largest multi sectoral convenings to advance gender equality, wd2023 convened 6,300 people in kigali and 200,000 people online through the virtual conference and six month global […]. 6 and 7 june 2023. melbourne convention and exhibition centre. more than 380 attendees gathered to elevate the voices of women and girls from the oceanic pacific region. the event theme was sisters in solidarity: our stories, spaces and solutions. key themes discussed at the event included: indigenous solidarity. How we work. we advance the health and rights of adolescent girls by creating spaces for collective action, championing and supporting youth advocacy, and convening likeminded organizations. in everything we do, we aim to shift power into the hands of those closest to and living the challenges that girls face.
